Unit 2 Reflection

To begin, I didn’t have to think too much about who my audience would be for this piece. This is because my topic, which focuses on the use of digital tools in the classroom, already zooms into a specific age group: students. Now, I could have chosen to focus on younger students, or older students, who potentially were in college or grad school, and I chose older students because I thought I would be able to find more rich content there. Secondly, I thought I could apply this topic to myself and my surroundings, like my friends, people in my class and more, which would make it easier for me to write this research paper and understand it better, which it did. Lastly, I chose this audience because it was the most relatable to me, so it automatically interested me more. So, once I chose this audience, I thought that the best way to reach it was by directly engaging with it face-to-face, hence why I chose to interview people for my pitch. It was definitely more helpful to experience askin...

Unit 2: Library

Image
I had taken pictures of the library that I typically go to when I have to study, do homework, or just want to read. This is Bird library, as you all should know. I shared some photos of my favorite spots here, I either find them very comfortable or I love the view that I can look off to. I also took a photo of the book I checked out, titled "Abortion Above the Law," because I found it to be interesting, especially because of the recent controversies revolving around this issue in the past few years. Now, to answer the question of how technology influences my relationship with the library, I don't think there is a significant impact. It definitely varies with the circumstance, however. This is because, if I have a lot of work to do, or it is finals week, I will definitely spend more time in the library compared to a regular week. This is because I have technology with me that makes this studying easier and more convenient. If I didn't, however, I would still go to...
